Novas Drogas

Agora coloco vos a par de duas novas drogas, que poderam revolucionar um pouco o mundo devido a prolongar a vida humana:

Droga que previne alguns "mecanismos" corporais de "desligarem" (permite pessoas gravemente feridas poderem sobreviver até chegar a ajuda médica).

"A LUCKY few seem to be able to laugh in the face of death, surviving massive blood loss and injuries that would kill others. Now a drug has been found that might turn virtually any injured person into a "super-survivor", by preventing certain biological mechanisms from shutting down.

The drug has so far only been tested in animals. If it has a similar effect in humans, it could vastly improve survival from horrific injuries, particularly in soldiers, by allowing them to live long enough to make it to a hospital."

Droga que ajuda a "viver" até aos 100 anos (Se vocês cuidarem mal o vosso corpo, não resulta)

"The breakthrough has come after scientists identified three “super-genes”.

People born with the genes are 20 times more likely to reach a century – and 80 per cent less likely to develop the senility disease Alzheimer’s.

Even being overweight or a heavy smoker does not stop a third of those with the genes living to 100.

Now US researchers are working to produce a drug that can mimic the genetic benefits and hope it will be ready for testing within three years. Their work features tonight on a BBC TV ­documentary."
