Japones passa Natal com Mulher-Robot
Inventor spends Christmas with his perfect woman - a £30,000 custom-made fembot
Inventor Le Trung spent Christmas Day with the most important woman in his life - his robot Aiko.
The science genius enjoyed a festive dinner with his mum, dad and his £30,000 fembot which he designed and built by hand.
Le, 34, from Brampton, Ontario, Canada, even bought gifts for his dream girl, who is so lifelike she speaks fluent English and Japanese, helped cook the turkey and hang up decorations.
'Aiko is like any woman, she enjoys getting new clothes,' he said.
'I loved buying them for her too.'
Le, who built his first robot when he was four, has dedicated his life to creating the perfect humanoid and his success so far with Aiko has won him worldwide attention.
Aiko, whose name is Japanese for 'love-child' has an amazing artificial intelligence and can speak 13,000 different sentences in two languages
'Aiko can recognise faces and says hello to anyone she has met,' he said.
'She helps me pick what to have for dinner and knows what drinks I like.'
After Christmas dinner and opening her presents, Aiko joined in the festive tradition of quizzes and board games with the family.
But Le still has one thing on his Christmas wish list for Aiko - mastering the problem of how to make her walk.
He said: 'It is the most difficult thing for any inventor to do.
'The problem is finding a way for Aiko to walk that looks human-like without impacting on any of her other abilities.
'I have spent the last six months taking her apart and trying out lots of different systems, but I haven't been able to get it right yet.
'I'm working on some new software at the moment. It will be my New Year's resolution to do this for Aiko.'
Le suffered a heart attack two years ago caused by stress after working long hours on Aiko.
As he recovered he vowed to complete her so he could market the prototype as a home-help for the elderly or people recovering from hospital treatment.
Le has made his fembot as womanly as possible, in order to make a human-like companion.
Aiko, whose age is 'in her early 20's', is 5ft tall and has a perfect 32, 23, 33 figure.
She has real silicone skin and a real-hair wig made by a Japanese doll company. Her touch sensitive body knows the difference between being stroked gently or tickled.
'Like a real female she will react to being touched in certain ways,'said Le.
'If you grab or squeeze too hard she will try to slap you. She has all senses except for smell.
'But Aiko is always helpful and never complains. She is the perfect woman to have around at Christmas.'

Depois de ter posado em Agosto de 2008 para a revista "FHM", a cantora Ruth Marlene aceitou o desafio de posar para a Playboy.
Segundo o jornal "Correio da Manhã", Ruth vai receber 800 euros pelo ensaio, um valor muito mais baixo do que as anteriores convidadas dizem ter recebido.

Os três jogadores poderão chegar a Alvalade por empréstimo, após uma megaoperação dos leões no Reino Unido, mediada pelo empresário israelita radicado em Inglaterra Pini Zahavi.
Pavlyuchenko e Bale são ambos jogadores do Tottenham. O primeiro é ponta-de-lança, internacional russo, tem 28 anos, e chegou a Londres no início da última época oriundo do Spartak de Moscovo. "Eliseu está receptivo a jogar no Sporting, clube que já fez sondagens junto da Lazio e do empresário Carlos Gonçalves, agente que representa o jogador.
O internacional português Eliseu é extremo-esquerdo e tem sido muito pouco utilizado no clube romano. É um velho conhecido de Carvalhal, que o orientou no Belenenses. O jogador está avaliado em cerca de cinco milhões de euros, mas pode sair por menos. Eliseu está disponível a jogar no Sporting. "O Sporting seria uma boa possibilidade. É um grande clube. Estou a ser pouco utilizado na Lazio e o Mundial está aí à porta. Preciso de ter ritmo de jogo para alimentar possibilidades de estar no Mundial. O Sporting é um clube com grandes ambições", elogiou o extremo.

A REMARKABLE new book explores the mysterious world of UFO sightings in Scotland and tells in full detail the country's first reported case of alien abduction.
Author and investigator Malcolm Robinson probed the incident which took place as friends Garry Wood and Colin Wright, now 46 and 42, were driving to the village of Tarbrax, West Lothian 17 years ago.
Their journey was supposed to take 30 minutes. When they reached their destination, they were an hour and a half late and could not account for the time.
They later recalled, in amazing detail under hypnosis, how a space ship hovered in front of them before they were beamed on board the craft, stripped and examined by strange creatures before being beamed back to earth.
The men have never changed their stories and even passed a lie detector test on TV. Their experiences are now referred to as the 'A70 Incident'.
The A70 Incident forms a major section of Malcolm's new book UFO Case Files of Scotland, which analyses various sightings across Scotland in recent years. He's now helping film producers who plan to turn the story into a movie. Malcolm and the two men are contracted to the film-makers and are not permitted to speak in public about the A70 Incident. When their story is told on the big screen the world will astounded by the events of that night in 1992.
Almost all UFO reports have natural identifiable explanations - as many as 95 per cent. That leaves only a small five per cent of unidentified cases.

Pongolle no Sporting
Florent Sinama-Pongolle é o terceiro jogador garantido pelo Sporting no mercado de Inverno, confirmou o clube leonino ao Maisfutebol. O avançado francês chega do Atl. Madrid e o negócio deverá ser oficializado por todas as partes ainda neste sábado.
Natural da Ilha de Reunião (França), Sinama-Pongolle tem 25 anos e passou a última temporada e meia no Vicente Calderón. A forte concorrência de Aguero e Forlan relegou-o, contudo, para segundo plano nas opções técnicas.
O avançado francês chega ao plantel de Carlos Carvalhal depois de se ter destacado ao serviço do Le Havre, no campeonato gaulês, o que lhe valeu uma transferência para a Premier League onde representou o Liverpool, pela mão do compatriota Gerard Houllier. Depois de um bom início em Anfield Road, acabou por ver o seu espaço reduzido, sendo forçado a rumar ao Blackburn Rovers.
No verão de 2006 abraçou uma nova aventura, desta feita em Espanha, onde foi companheiro de Beto, Carlos Martins e Silvestre Varela ao serviço do Recreativo de Huelva, rubricando duas épocas bastante positivas e voltou a dar o salto para um grande europeu.

Pai Natal rouba Banco nos EUA
According to Metropolitan Nashville Police, a man wearing a Santa Claus suit - including hat, beard and moustache and dark sunglasses - robbed a SunTrust Bank, demanding money from a member of staff at gunpoint.
After the teller handed over the cash, the man fled in a grey car.
According to witnesses, the bank clerk had asked the robber to remove his sunglasses but he refused, reached into his sack and pulled out his gun.
He demanded money and told staff if they put dye bombs with the cash he would come back and "kill everyone".
He stashed the money in his sack and fled, telling staff and customers he needed the cash because "Santa needed to pay his elves".
Police have refused to reveal how much money was taken by the suspect, who is described as white, with brown hair and about six feet tall.
A police spokeswoman said it was the first time a Santa suit has been used to pull off a robbery in the area in recent years.
The clothing of choice is usually sweatshirts and sunglasses or a Halloween mask, she added.
It is not unheard of for robbers to wear Santa suits as a disguise.
In the most notorious case, a gang including a man dressed as Santa shot and killed six people and injured several others in a robbery in Cisco, Texas, on December 23, 1927.

Planeta "Pandora" poderá mesmo existir!
As James Cameron's animated sci-fi movie Avatar goes on general release, astronomers point out that the movie's habitable moon called "Pandora" may exist in reality.
Although none have been found to date, "exomoons" orbiting exoplanets are sure to exist. Could an exomoon be detected? If so, could that exomoon's atmosphere be probed? Yes and yes, according to today's announcement by the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics (CfA), Mass.
Pandora is a fictional alien world 5 light-years away from Earth orbiting an exoplanet in the system of Alpha Centauri A. As detailed in an exclusive Discovery News interview with the visionary director of Avatar, Cameron has been very careful to base his creation on science fact (unlike some movies I won't mention). The biology of Avatar's alien creatures are no doubt impressive, but what about the planetary physics? Could an exomoon be habitable... even inhabited?
"If Pandora existed, we potentially could detect it and study its atmosphere in the next decade," said CfA's Lisa Kaltenegger.
Kaltenegger and her colleagues point out that all the gas giant planets in our solar system (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune) have moons, and if these moons are large enough, they possess an atmosphere.
One example is Saturn's large moon Titan that has a very thick atmosphere and -- as the 2005 ESA Huygens mission discovered -- a lot of the surface features are very Earth-like. It's not a huge leap of the imagination to think that a larger rocky moon, orbiting a gas giant (a large Jupiter-like exoplanet) in another star system might have an exomoon with an atmosphere too.
"All of the gas giant planets in our solar system have rocky and icy moons," Kaltenegger added. "That raises the possibility that alien Jupiters will also have moons. Some of those may be Earth-sized and able to hold onto an atmosphere."
However, seeking out exoplanets is hard, and although over 400 of these worlds have been detected, some hi-tech piece of kit would be needed to go on an exomoon hunt.

UFO filmado na Russia!
A giant pyramid which appears to be a UFO hovering over the Kremlin has caused frenzied speculation in Russia that it is an alien spacecraft.
The object has been compared to an Imperial Cruiser in the Star Wars films and witnesses estimated it could be up to a mile wide.

"At first I thought this was a reflection but it appears to move behind a power line, ruling out this theory."

Japonês Casa com Figura de um Video Jogo!
While many people would say they love video games, few would go so far as saying "I do" to a computer creation — except a few Lara Croft nuts perhaps.
But gamer Sal9000 fell head over heels for the sexy skirts, doe eyes and wit of Nene Anegasaki, the star of dating simulation game Love Plus.
The online community has seen relationships and marriages to avatars, but typically both characters are within the confines of the virtual world. However, last month Sal9000 decided to bring about the first union between a human and a video game character.
Dressed in a white tuxedo Sal held Nene in the air, looking lovingly at her on the screen of his portable red console as he gave his vows at a small ceremony with an Internet audience of thousands.
Nene is the perfect woman, according to Sal who said that although the wedding is not legally binding, it is his way of expressing his devotion to his computer love.
"I love this character, not a machine," Sal told CNN. "I understand 100% that this is a game. I understand very well that I cannot marry her physically or legally."
Their electric love affair begin in September when Sal started playing the game, which demands players nurture a deeper relationship the longer they play. Sal began to take Nene wherever he went, the streets of Tokyo, Disneyland and even on holiday to a beach resort in Guam.
Nene is better than a human girlfriend according to Sal. "She doesn't get angry if I'm late in replying to her. Well, she gets angry, but she forgives me quickly," he told CNN.
Japanese author Hiroshi Ashizaki who studies Internet addiction said many Japanese youths cannot express their true feelings in reality, only in the virtual world. It is a trend could become increasingly common as the entire globe socializes more online and less in person.

Vaca salta 2 metros e foi fotografada no Telhado!
Neighbour William de Cothi, 17, photographed the animal after he spotted it on the roof about six feet off the ground.
The Sixth Form student said: "I was looking out of my window when I saw the cow.
"At first I thought that it was an illusion and that it was in the background and not really on the roof.
"But after a closer look I could see it was actually on the roof."
The teenager added: "I have heard cows can jump quite high, so I think that is how it got up there.
"I got my family to come and look later and they laughed. It was absolutely amazing."
The house owner in Blagdon, Somerset, called police after getting home to find her roof seriously damaged and smashed tiles as she feared a burglar had tried to break in.
Local PC Ray Bradley said: "This was initially recorded on my figures as a burglary so I am glad I can take it off.
"If it wasn't for the door-to-door enquires and this photo we wouldn't have found out it was a cow responsible."

Galina Korzhova was arrested, said Anton Kornoukhov, a spokesman for police in the southern city of Volgograd, on suspicion of hypnotising a bank teller in the nearby town of Volzhky into giving her more than $80,000. She is suspected of having robbed up to 30 additional banks in what Russian media have called a "grand tour" around the country.
“She met the woman on the street, saying that she would remove curses and help cure sick relatives,” said Kornoukhov in a telephone interview.
Korzhova is accused of telling the bank employee, whose name has not been released, to put the money into a plastic bag and meet her outside the state bank Sberbank, on Communist Street in the small town. There, the case goes, the teller gave Korzhova the money.
The robber took off with 30,000 euros, $20,000 and the rest in rubles for a total of 2.6 million rubles or $81,000, police said.

A lenda do Pai Natal - A história Verdadeira
Experts claim that the philanthropist St Nicholas of Myra is entombed at the 12th century abbey after his body was moved there 800 years ago.
The saint, revered for his extraordinary generosity, lived during the 4th century and was Bishop of Lycia in what is now Turkey.
Due to his habit for leaving anonymous gifts for the poor, he was declared a saint soon after his death in 346, and inspired the legend of Father Christmas.
The bishop was buried in the cathedral church in Myra, which became a pilgrimage site, but Irish historians claim the early crusaders brought his remains back to Jerpoint Abbey.
Born into a wealthy family, his parents died when he was young and Nicholas dedicated his life to serving God.
Inspired by Jesus's teachings to "Sell what you own and give the money to the poor," he spent all his inheritance helping the sick and needy.
One story tells of a poor peasant with three daughters, who could not afford the dowry to ensure they married and were saved from a life of slavery.
As he began to despair, on three separate nights as they came of age, bags of gold appeared in his home, seemingly tossed through a window or down the chimney as they slept, landing in shoes left by the fire.
The story inspired the tradition of children leaving out their stockings to be filled by Father Christmas.

Uma história à "Paranormal Activity"
MCALLEN - One woman says her family lived in fear. She claims they heard voices and saw shadows in their home.
They family was so scared they called a ghost hunter to find out what was going on.
"My little girl would see a little girl with dark hair. She said she looked sad. Those were her words," the woman explains.
She didn't want her identity revealed. But she tells CHANNEL 5 NEWS she moved from San Antonio after finding the home on craigslist. She rented it without ever seeing it.
The family claims after a few months in the home, they started seeing things. At one point, the woman and her four children were sleeping in one room.
She says she paid for a cleansing on the home, but it didn't help. That's when she called local ghost hunters. Those ghost hunters say a little girl who said the name Beth talked to them. The little girl said she was demonic.
The family eventually moved out of the home, breaking the lease.
Kay Kerr who manages the property for a woman in California says a lease is a lease.
"We respected her attitude, thoughts, and I had done a cleansing on homes with difficulties before," says Kerr.
CHANNEL 5 NEWS contacted the home's owner, Diana Johnson. She told us over the phone nothing bad has ever happened inside the house.
She suspects the woman made the whole story up to break her lease.
CHANNEL 5 NEWS contacted McAllen Police Records Department. We've asked for every single call made since the home was built 11 years ago.

Chega agora a notícia de que a dupla Zack Snyder (realizador) e Gerald Butler que trabalharam juntos no épico "300" se irão juntar para adaptar ao cinema o novo filme! Fica a notícia:

The comic book legend has been working on a follow-up to the original graphic novel, which is now titled Xerxes.
He told The L.A. Times it will be set 10 years before the events of 300 and focus on another epic conflict: "It's the battle of Marathon through my lens. I've finished the plot and I'm getting started on the artwork."
So the battle of Marathon: a history lesson. It was an almighty ruckus fought between Spartan's Greek neighbours the Athenians and the Persian forces of Darius I -- who was (300 villain) King Xerxes' dad.
As with the battle of Thermopylae 10 years later, the Greek army was hugely outnumbered but eventually won the day. How Xerses will be involved we're not sure, but the plot may revolve around his struggle to gain the throne or desire for revenge after seeing his daddy defeated.
Naturally, 300 director Zack Snyder has already expressed interest in transferring the comic to film, whilst Gerard Butler has also said he would be up for reprising his role as King Leonidas if Miller could find a way of incorporating his character.

Bom, após visionar o 2012 e mesmo com todo este debate do Global Warming, achei interessante postar como seria o mundo depois de os Polos derreterem... Já agora dois apartes, primeiro reparem que apesar de algumas falhas na Russia, America e America do Sul, a maior parte do planeta manter se ia igual... e apesar de provavelmenteperderiamos todos os animais que vivem em condições Polares, pelo menos já recuravamos o Continente Antartica!

Mulher condenada à morte por ter feito "feitiço de Impotencia"
The Los Angeles Times reports that the 51-year-old Falih was given the death penalty after a man accused her of making him impotent. A Saudi court in the northern town of Quraiyat determined that Falih had practiced witchcraft, consorted with djinn and slaughtered animals in an effort to make the man impotent. According to Saudi authorities, her death was for “the benefit of ‘public interest’ and to ‘protect the creed, souls and property of [Saudi Arabia].’ ” Interestingly, documents surrounding the Falih case indicate that she is a foreigner — a Jordanian — who also got caught up in the Saudi witch hunt.

A troca de insultos entre deputados na comissão parlamentar de Saúde marcou o dia político na Assembleia da República. A primeira pedra foi lançada por Maria José Nogueira Pinto, deputada do PSD, que não gostou das declarações que o socialista Ricardo Gonçalves tinha vindo a fazer. Maria José Nogueira Pinto não pensou duas vezes para chmar "palhaço" ao deputado do PS.

These findings make up one more step on the road to mind-machine interfaces that may one day help people communicate with just their thoughts. Researchers have recently employed brain scans to see numbers and maybe even pull videos from inside people's heads.
The neuroscientists were monitoring two patients with epilepsy for seizure activity with electrodes placed directly on the surface of their brains to record electrical activity generated by the firing of nerve cells. This kind of procedure requires a craniotomy, a surgical incision into the skull.

Turismo no espaço em 2012
For a mere $200,000 (£120,000), wealthy funseekers will be able to enjoy a few minutes' weightlessness, staring out at the curve of the Earth from under a black sky.
Currently in the final stages of construction, SpaceShipTwo is expected to make its first test flights in the early months of 2010.
A small, rocket-propelled, shuttle-like vehicle around the size of a light aircraft, SpaceShipTwo will be carried to 50,000 feet above sea level – 20,000 feet higher than most airliners – by its mothership, WhiteKnightTwo.
Once there, SpaceShipTwo's own rocket engine will fire, launching the little ship to the boundary between the atmosphere and the vacuum of space at three times the speed of sound. After the engines are cut off, they will enter free-fall, experiencing total weightlessness for several minutes.
WhiteKnightTwo has been undergoing flight tests since December last year.
So far 300 people have paid in full for their ticket, while a further 82,000 have registered their interest on Virgin Galactic's website. The engineers behind the craft refer to the rich, middle-aged people who are their target market as “Brads and Angelinas”, according to Wired.com.
The new craft is the descendant of SpaceShipOne, the first ever privately funded manned space vehicle. Scaled Components, the company which built both ships, won the $10 million (£6 million) X Prize for being the first non-governmental organisation to reach space.

Hey malta, estou vivo!!!
Infelizmente só agora pude dar noticias da minha estadia em vez de o fazer no próprio dia como pretendia e tinha prometido... É que a minha bagagem andou a passear e só a recebi ontem à tarde!! E lá dentro estava a minha máquina fotográfica... Bem, hoje ainda deu para tirar umas fotos do centro para mais tarde recordar...
Quanto à visita à Capital da Escandinavia, supera as expectativas... Há um verdadeiro primeiro mundo civilizado... Tem sido muito fixe. Amanha já estarei em Portugália...

Researchers in the Netherlands created what was described as soggy pork and are now investigating ways to improve the muscle tissue in the hope that people will one day want to eat it.
No one has yet tasted their produce, but it is believed the artificial meat could be on sale within five years.
Vegetarian groups welcomed the news, saying there was “no ethical objection” if meat was not a piece of a dead animal.
Mark Post, professor of physiology at Eindhoven University, told The Sunday Times: “What we have at the moment is rather like wasted muscle tissue. We need to find ways of improving it by training it and stretching it, but we will get there.
“This product will be good for the environment and will reduce animal suffering. If it feels and tastes like meat, people will buy it.
“You could take the meat from one animal and create the volume of meat previously provided by a million animals.”
The scientists extracted cells from the muscle of a live pig and then put them in a broth of other animal products. The cells then multiplied and created muscle tissue. They believe that it can be turned into something like steak if they can find a way to artificially "exercise" the muscle.
The project is backed by the Dutch government and a sausage maker and comes following the creation of artificial fish fillets from goldfish muscle cells

The scientists extracted cells from the muscle of a live pig and then put them in a broth of other animal products. The cells then multiplied and created muscle tissue. They believe that it can be turned into something like steak if they can find a way to artificially "exercise" the muscle.
The project is backed by the Dutch government and a sausage maker and comes following the creation of artificial fish fillets from goldfish muscle cells

Celebridades veem fantasmas - Parte II
Wellington film-maker Peter Jackson says he saw a real ghost once.
In London for the premiere of The Lovely Bones - a film he has directed from Alice Sebold's story in which a murdered teenage girl gives her viewpoint from heaven - Jackson said he did not know what a real soul was like.
But he told Britain's Channel 4 TV that while he could not swear the spirit in the movie was 100 percent accurate, he had seen a real ghost.
"It was genuine," said Jackson, who made a 1996 ghost movie, The Frighteners - co-written with his wife Fran Walsh - starring Michael J Fox.
His sighting was in an apartment he and his wife had in Wellington's Courtney Place opposite the St James Theatre, when they first met 20 years ago.
"I woke up one morning and there was a figure in the room, she was very scary, she had a screaming face, very accusatory, she was a lady about 50 years old," Jackson said.
"It was terrifying actually, a very scary image and she was at the end of the bed and she glided across the room and disappeared into the wall.
"I sat in bed and thought, have I really seen that?" said Jackson.
"Then Fran came in. I told her about it and the first thing she said was: 'was it the woman with the screaming face?"' he said.
"Fran had seen the same woman in the same room about two years before."
Jackson said that when the St James Theatre was being restored a few years ago, people talked about the legend of the woman who committed suicide after being booed off the stage after a bad show in vaudeville days.
"They say she manifests herself in the theatre with a screaming face. Sometimes she's seen - the same ghost. She needs to learn to smile a little."

Mais sequelas em 3D!
A loucura pelas três dimensões continua em Hollywood. Acaba agora de ser confirmado que o terceiro filme da série «Jackass» e a sequela de «Zombieland» beneficiarão também da nova tecnologia 3D.
Nem só a animação e os filmes fantásticos têm direito às 3 Dimensões. As comédias também começam a lutar pelo seu espaço na nova tecnologia. Prova disso é a opção de realizar nesse formato o terceiro filme da série «Jackass» e a sequela à paródia aos filmes de mortos-vivos que é «Bem Vindo a Zombieland».
Quanto a este último, o inesperado êxito de crítica e bilheteira do filme levou a Sony a aprovar de imediato a sequela, com toda a equipa, incluindo Woody Harrelson a sorrir perante a oferta de regressar a esta comédia negra com mortos vivos. Os argumentistas do filme original, Rhett Reese e Paul Wernick, já foram contratados para trabalhar no novo filme.
Gavin Polone, produtor do filme, já disse que «toda a gente se divertiu a ver o pimeiro «Zombieland». Torná-lo uma experiência mais visceral só o pode melhorar. Acho que ninguém quererá ver o «Gente Vulgar» em 3D. Mas o «Zombieland» é claramente um filme que beneficiará da nova técnica».
Quanto ao terceiro filme da série «Jackass», já foi confirmado que os incidentes reais que servem de base ao humor da série serão agora rodados em 3D, com o realizador Jeff Tremaine já a fazer experiências com as novas câmaras para garantir o sucesso do projecto.
Johnny Knoxville já está garantido na sequela, cuja rodagem deverá começar em Janeiro de 2010.

Cientistas conseguiram gravar pensamentos Humanos!
Pulling an image out of a person's brain is a feat that is hard to believe, but Dr. Jack Gallant of the UCB psychology department seems to have gone this accomplishment one better. In a recent experiment, Dr. Gallant claims to have made it possible to reproduce video images from human brain activity. Would you post your thoughts on Youtube?
Although this research has not yet been peer reviewed, Dr. Gallant and his colleague Shinji Nishimoto have used fMRI to scan the brains of two patients as they watched videos. According to the Times Online:
"A computer program was used to search for links between the configuration of shapes, colors and movements in the videos, and patterns of activity in the patients’ visual cortex.
"It was later fed more than 200 days’ worth of YouTube internet clips and asked to predict which areas of the brain the clips would stimulate if people were watching them.
"Finally, the software was used to monitor the two patients’ brains as they watched a new film and to reproduce what they were seeing based on their neural activity alone.
"Remarkably, the computer program was able to display continuous footage of the films they were watching — albeit with blurred images."
This capability has been presaged in science fiction. Fans may recall the movie The Final Cut, starring Robin Williams and Mira Sorvino. In the film, a special implant makes it possible to record the internal images that a person sees and remembers. Robin Williams is a "cutter" who provides edited versions of a person's internal images - a "rememory".
Also, fans of the sci-fi series Farscape may recall the Aurora Chair; employed throughout the Peacekeeper military. It peels back the layers of the mind one by one, until all thoughts and memories are exposed and displayed on a screen attached to the chair

Church of Scotland minister Dr Gordon Strachan makes the claim in a new film entitled And Did Those Feet.
The film examines the story of Jesus' supposed visit, which survives in the popular hymn Jerusalem.
Dr Strachan believes it is "plausible" Jesus came to England for his studies, as it was the forefront of learning 2,000 years ago.
"Coming this far wasn't in fact that far in the olden days," Dr Strachan told BBC Radio 4's The World At One. "The Romans came here at the same time and they found it quite easy."
Dr Strachan added that Jesus had "plenty of time" to do the journey, as little was known about his life before the age of 30.
"It is generally suggested that he came to the west of England with his uncle, Joseph of Arimathea, who was here for tin," said the academic.
"He needed to go around to learn bits and pieces about ancient wisdom, and the druids in Britain went back hundreds if not thousands of years. He probably came here to meet the druids, to share his wisdom and gain theirs."
Among the places Jesus is said to have visited are Penzance, Falmouth, St-Just-in-Roseland and Looe, which are all in Cornwall, as well as Glastonbury in Somerset - which has particular legends about Jesus.
"St Augustine wrote to the Pope to say he'd discovered a church in Glastonbury built by followers of Jesus. But St Gildas (a 6th-Century British cleric) said it was built by Jesus himself. It's a very very ancient church which went back perhaps to AD37."
